I thought a planetarium would be somewhat educational learning about planets, the solar system and the universe at least this is what I was expecting, instead i got imagery of Hawaii, music and sounds of the sea(the show was called night rainbow). I felt like the show was purposely trying to get people to fall asleep with the soothing sounds and even lullabies, for 1700 that was pretty expensive to just fall asleep. Interesting experience but wouldn't waste my money again.

Nice planetarium with very comfortable and spacious seating. It was an hour long where you can just zone out with the soothing sound and visuals. Nice way to rewind after work, seems to be a popular dating spot too.

brought here by a local friend who thought it might be something interesting for a visitor. there are different shows and themes. shows are in Japanese though, one can easily ask for a translator device from the friendly staff for better understanding. the seats are comfortable, if you are paying extra for a lie down seats, you are in for a treat because the bedrooms and cushions are extremely huggable and comfy - can easily fall asleep.

You pay 1500-1700 yen for aprox 40 minute show on the cheapest chair type. There are different type of seats (more expensive) that are more comfortable. There are shows every hour and not all of them have English audio assistance. You lay back a bit, you stare at the ceiling, they talk a bit, play a couple of songs.. that's it. If you'd like it or not is completely up to you.
